Dr. Erin Najarian has over 12 years of acute care nursing experience, with her clinical background primarily in critical care. After working as a staff nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, she completed Vanderbilt University’s Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program with Intensivist focus. She maintains certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. As a board-certified nurse practitioner, she has worked in hospital medicine at St. David’s HealthCare in Austin, Texas and critical care at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Currently, she works in hospital medicine at multiple Atrium facilities in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a nurse educator at UNC Charlotte, she works with undergraduate nursing students as well as graduate students in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and CRNA programs.
