UNC Charlotte School of Nursing Collaborates with DaVita Dialysis Centers!

We’re excited to announce our new Collaboration with DaVita Dialysis Centers of Mecklenburg County!

Approximately 20 centers will be sending nurses and patient care technicians to our Learning Resource Center for advanced simulation training.

This collaboration aims to equip up to 100 DaVita employees with the critical skills to respond to emergency dialysis patients. The first live training event, held on February 15, 2024, was a huge success, signaling a promising start to our partnership.

This initiative reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of our community and enhancing patient care. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey together!
